A Letter to the Competitors:

Dear Contestant:

    Thank you for your entry to Southern Maryland Celtic Festival, Piping and Drumming contest, to be held 26 April, 2025.  You should have received all your ticket/s via email. 
 
     Registration starts at 8:15am for competitors at the Piping and Drumming tent, where you will receive your competitor number and approximate time of play.  You must also check in with the steward assigned to your competition so you can be notified of any changes to the schedule.  We do try to abide by the schedule but sometimes it is beyond our control.  Piping contest starts at 9am, drumming approximate 10am and Bands 2:30pm. Opening massed bands 12 noon closing ceremony about 5pm.  

    Bands please note, if a member of your band registered for individual competition the ticket was sent directly to them.  Please have a member of your band present at 10:00am, to be briefed on massed band formation and times.

    We hope you enjoy Southern Maryland Games and wish you good luck in your competition. We suggest you allow time for arrival and parking area changes, please park in designated areas.  Bands please look for entrance signs.

    This competition is for your benefit and enjoyment.  Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you, before, during or after the competition.  If you have any recommendations on how we can improve the games, please share them with us.  We want this to be your games.  Good luck in your contest.
