The Devil's Brigade
THE DEVIL'S BRIGADE, formally known as the First Special Service Force, was a highly decorated Canadian/American commando unit in WWII. Their legendary heroism struck fear into the hearts of Nazis and their legacy can be traced directly to the Canadian Special Operations Regiment and Green Berets. The American Rogues have long supported Veterans and by becoming THE DEVIL'S BRIGADE we seek to not only honour those who serve but also reflect our own Canadian/American identity and similar spirit of cooperation.
FROM SCOTLAND TO JAPAN, ITALY TO GUAM, SPAIN TO CUBA TO THE MIDDLE EAST, AND ACROSS NORTH AMERICA THIS SPIRITED CANADIAN/AMERICAN GROUP IS EMBRACING THE WORLDS OF CELTIC, ROCK, WORLD MUSIC & MORE... Drawing favourable comparisons to Wolfstone, Afro Celt Sound System, and Trans-Siberian Orchestra and consistently providing performances from Grade 1 bagpipers and other world class musicians this high-energy Canadian/American group has electrified audiences on three continents for years. They have expanded their ever-growing family of fans at music festivals, theatres, military bases, weddings, memorial ceremonies, corporate events, and more. This has even included shows with world-renowned violinist/composers Lindsey Stirling and Alison Krauss, as well as airplay on TV and radio, and shows at non-Celtic venues such as the World Music Festival in Quebec where they have both kicked off and closed the 6 day event to widespread acclaim (they've been asked to play this festival 13 years in a row and counting). In 2021 they charted at #12 in the world for their rendition of “The Boondock Saints Theme”, and #3 and #7 in North America for their “Boondock Saints Theme” and “The Gael from Last of the Mohicans”. In 2017 they became the St. Paddy's Band of Rogers radio stations nationwide when they recorded Celtic versions of contemporary songs for airplay, 2018 saw them appear at festivals in Scotland (including their appearance as the first international act at the Cowal Highland Gathering, one of the largest Celtic events in the world), and 2019 saw them headline in Abu Dhabi and at the Greg Frewin Theatre in Niagara Falls, and sell out the Harbourfront Centre Theatre in Toronto with Japanese taiko group, Nagata Shachu. In 2022 they were invited to return to Scotland to perform at the 150th Crieff Highland Gathering and they also continued performing Celtic/Japanese Hybrid Music under the name "The Dragon & the Rising Sun". With shows in Japan, Scotland, Italy, Spain, Guam, Cuba, Greece, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, their hard won road successes have established them as artists with bona fide international acclaim. Renowned for their musical skill, quick wit, compelling storytelling, and engaging stage show THE DEVIL’S BRIGADE have mastered the art of creating an immediate connection with audiences. They are known for their epic, multi-instrumental sound that crosses the musical landscape to include jigs, reels, hornpipes, ballads, originals, covers, soundtracks, patriotic and military music, Irish foot-stompers and more. THE DEVIL’S BRIGADE is fast becoming a household name with music lovers around the world, loved by young and old of all backgrounds. Back to Music Schedule |

Across the Pond
Across the Pond’s unique style has quickly made them a regional favorite. They start with pure-
drop Celtic trad and “have their way with it.” Their backgrounds in bluegrass, country, rock, classical and Appalachian Mountain music allows them to create unique and powerful arrangements, never straying too far from the traditional roots. They have performed at over 700 festivals, weddings, concerts and other shows in the US and Canada. Founding member and Frontman Mike Morrison, plays guitar, mandolin, native- American flute and sings lead vocals. He leads fast-paced shows, selecting pieces on the fly to keep audiences on the edge of their seats, smiling, clapping and tapping their feet. Founding member Dan Diviney adds bodhrán, whistles and lead vocals. Molly Shortridge performs on several flutes and whistles, adding backing vocals and a rare lead vocal. She handles graphic and social media for the band. Charles Kadyk provides both fiddle and viola; and, tells jokes and takes lots of pictures. Truly a professional band, they carefully tailor their show for each occasion. Free of music stands, they create a fast-moving, captivating show that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats, eagerly anticipating their next move. Kilmaine Saints
Kilmaine Saints is a band formed on good whiskey and bad intentions. The brainchild of two members of a Harrisburg Pipe & Drum band, this project was originally created with the sole intent of getting them free beer at St. Patrick’s Day shows in the central PA area (and might I add- mission accomplished). After incorporating the help of fellow members from the pipe band and other notable musicians from the area, they soon realized they were in for one hell of a ride. Since 2009 they have continued to pound through blistering, high-energy live sets that keep people singing along, stomping their feet, lifting their pints and shouting for more. With several hundred shows at pubs and festivals from New Jersey to California, critically acclaimed releases under their belts, national and international airplay, and an ever-expanding and extremely loyal fanbase, it’s no wonder the world is starting to stand up and take notice. In short, The Kilmaine Saints are equal parts Irish swagger, Scottish pride, and whiskey. This explosive Celtic rock band from central PA will steal your heart, your spirit, and your pint when you’re not looking. Back to Music Schedule |
Some Assembly
Some Assembly is a group of musicians from Southern Maryland who, for more than 20 years, have been regularly heard at contra dances, folk dances, ballroom dances, waltzes, and festivals around the Baltimore and DC region. The group’s repertoire is eclectic, drawing heavily from traditional instrumental music from Ireland, Scotland, England, the Canadian Maritimes and of course, America. They enjoy blending this traditional music with contemporary composers, including that of band member Mary Corletta Flora.
