  Based in the Scottish Highlands the Clan Duncan Society's primary purpose is to bring together all those with the name Duncan and the associated names of Duncanson, Duncane, Dunkinson, Duncean, Dunken, Donkin, Dunkin and other alternate spellings; to globally unite all those with an interest in their history, heritage and ancestral roots in Scotland and unite all Duncan's both at home and overseas as one Clan.

• Anne Arundel Scottish Festival
  The Annual ANNE ARUNDEL SCOTTISH FESTIVAL & HIGHLAND GAMES will be held in October. This one-day event is held 9am-5pm, “Rain or Shine” at the Anne Arundel Fairgrounds, 1450 Generals Highway, Route 178, Crownsville, Maryland 21032.

• Alasdair Fraser
  Master Scottish fiddler Alasdair Fraser is a consummate performer. His dynamic fiddling, engaging stage presence, and deep understanding of Scotland's music have created a constant and international demand for his solo appearances and concerts with a variety of ensembles.
• Fair Warning - Ceilidh Band
  Fair warning is a Calvert County ensemble that consists of Frank Burton, Sue Burton and Gary Pape. They have played together in other groups for more than a decade. Formed to play at venues that did not have space or need for a larger band, Fair Warning currently appears in Calvert County, St. Mary's County and other Sothern Maryland Venues. call 410-535-3465 for bookings or email spape@chesapeake.net
• Seamus Kennedy
  Originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, has been entertaining audiences all over the United States for the past 32 years. With a ready wit and a vast store of songs, he travels from Alaska to Florida, Maryland to California, performing for audiences which range from Popes and presidents to bartenders and bricklayers, from college students to kindergartners.
• Bonnie Rideout
  There is lots of good info on Bonnie Rideout at the below website. She is a great entertainer and she has both performed and been an event judge at the Festival. Her schedule can be found online
• Scottish F.I.R.E.

• Wild Rovers
  This is a great band of hard-drinking and hard-jamming folks. They often play at the festival and usually arrange a bus trip from Annapolis to the Festival. See their site for details.

Celtic Dance

• Southern Maryland Traditional Music and Dance
  A society of local residents dedicated to the preservation and promotion of regional traditional and contemporary folk music and dance. Sponsors of concerts, dances, and activities. Join them in supporting the folk culture of the Southern Maryland region.
