Southern Maryland Scottish Fiddling Championship

There WILL BE a Scottish F.I.R.E. Sanctioned Fiddling Competition in the Brenckenridge Building with David Gardner as our judge. Please be there by 9:30 am for sign in/registration. Join us for a free workshop with David at the Celtic Arts Education Group/VIP hospitality tent for a workshop at 4:00 pm. This workshop is open to anyone with a festival ticket and a fiddle! David will also be performing on the same stage prior to the workshop at 3:00 pm.

Your registration fee will gain you entrance to the festival grounds. If you do not pre-register you will be charged an entry fee at the gate the day of the festival and a registration fee at the competition.

Four Categories are:

— OPEN - JR (17 and under); SR (18 and up)
— NOVICE - JR (13 and under); SR (14 and up)

The judge and steward reserve the right to adjust the categories to better suit the number of competitors. Any changes will be announced before the competition begins. Your early registration is greatly appreciated.

All Festival Competition Participants must bring a signed 'Hold Harmless Agreement' on the day of the event. Children under the age of 18 years must have a parent or guardian sign a 'Hold Harmless Agreement'. Completion of this form (by a participant, parent, or guardian over the age of 18) will constitute implied acceptance of the contents of this document.
