We have a great group event offer here - A Bard of Nature's Making - please let me know if you're interested in joining The Celtic Society of Southern Maryland group attendance to this free lecture next Tuesday (October 21st).
Lunch, etc., would be on your own expense.
Please respond directly to me if you are interested in attending - - by this Friday, 17 October.
I am proposing that your group arrive here for a 10:30 a.m. tour of the Library of Congress, attend the Burns lecture at noon, have lunch in a Congressional Dining Room then have a tour of the Folklife Reading Room, enjoy some private research time in the Archive of Folk Culture and in the evening gather for a song and tune session in a Capitol Hill pub.? If we have enough of a gathering, we will go as a group and follow Jennifer's suggested plan. This is a really great offer....
